Sticky Notes for Appointments

Is your agency fully utilizing the Appointment Comments feature in the Ahlers program?  Many agencies just try to quickly book the appointment(s) and get the patient off the phone or moving out of the clinic as quickly as possible.

Comments are freeform so you have the freedom to be creative or as descriptive as you want.  If you print the appointment schedule, the comments will print on the list.   If you look up the patient in Ahlers the comments also show on the patient appointment screen.  We have seen agencies use comments to notify staff of insurance coverage, past due balances, patient complaints, requests for a specific provider, Spanish speaker only, etc.  The possibilities are practically endless!

Appointment Comments aren’t just available at the time you schedule the appointment.  It’s easily accessible anytime through the client’s appointment page.  Just highlight the appointment and click APPT COMMENT.
